We’re excited for the fall season as we continue to close out 2025 with gratitude. We want to thank all our partners for supporting a successful summer of programming, and we especially thank our team for the remarkable work they’ve done in serving families, children, and businesses.
As the school year begins, we are leaning in with purpose and focus on impacting student success. This season, we look forward to introducing new after-school programming at four high schools. We also plan to bring in at least 18 mentors and tutors to walk alongside our youth as we continue to develop ways to invest in their academic growth.
If you’re interested in joining us, you can sign up to be a tutor or mentor below and be part of the meaningful work happening in Marion and Polk Counties, especially within the Salem-Keizer School District.
We’re also excited to host our upcoming Meet & Greet at the Chemeketa College Viticultural Center. This event will give partners the chance to connect, hear our story, explore new opportunities for collaboration, and build lasting support for the work we are doing in the community.
Additionally, we’ve begun our first SWOT Analysis—an important self-assessment to reflect on our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. This process will help us shape the future of our organization as we move toward 2026 and beyond.
Above all, we are deeply committed to working within the Black community to develop strong leadership, invest in students, and uplift families, communities, and businesses. We invite you to continue following and supporting us on this exciting journey.
